This 1979 pop classic by Bette Midler is arranged for dulcimer in three verses. The first verse is tabbed in the key of D and is the most basic, using the lower portion of the fingerboard. Verse two makes use of the upper octave with some of the melody played on the bass string. The third verse modulates to the key of G and uses the 1+ fret. Learn the entire arrangement or only the verses you choose. If you do not have a 1+ fret, you will still be able to play the first two verses.

Four pages. 52 measures. DAD tuning. Mildly challenging for the intermediate level player. No standard musical notation is included. However, guitar accompaniment chords and lyrics are provided. Listen to the sound byte playing in the background to get a better idea of how the arrangement should sound.
